resources for religious communities
Social justice is a key component of ethical life in all religious traditions. Religious communities have unique resources, in their ritual and ethical practices, for taking anti-racist action and working collectively for change.
Here are some resources that discuss systemic racism specifically in religious terms, or in ways aimed at religious communities.
Because our team consists entirely of Christians, many of these resources are Christian. This is also because American Christianity, due to its intertwining with whiteness in our history, has a particularly steep hill to climb as it commits to anti-racism. However, these resources also include discussions of racism and anti-racist resources for other religious traditions.
